mental health tools.

Innerworld is a scalable platform to teach scientifically validated tools for handling negative emotion.

Certified Innerworld coaches run daily events exploring the evidence-based tenets of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

A Data-Driven Approach

Investigation of lay therapists suggest that non-professionals can be trained as coaches to teach CBT skills and facilitate non-specific effects for those experiencing symptoms of depressions and anxiety with similar efficacy to therapists, but at a much lower cost [1-5].

The addition of lay therapists enhances digital CBT interventions and can be leveraged to deliver highly scalable psychotherapeutic treatments with outcomes comparable to traditional, face-to-face psychotherapy treatments [6].

Cognitive Behavioral Immersion™, developed by Noah Robinson & Dr. Steven Hollon at Vanderbilt University, has the potential to combine the strengths of recent psychological and technological advances to deliver effective, affordable, and scalable support to those with depression and anxiety.

Data from 127 Innerworld participants, who endorsed clinical levels of depression (PHQ-9) or anxiety (GAD-7) symptoms during their first CBI session, experienced a significant decrease in symptoms of depression (d = 0.58) and anxiety (d = 0.61).
